Sports

Sport plays a big part in student life at Sir George Monoux College. You will have the opportunity to play both competitively or for recreation and fitness. Many of our teams compete in AOC (Association of Colleges) leagues, cups and tournaments. There is an exciting Sport and Enrichment timetable that runs every Wednesday from 1.30pm, as well as timetabled weekly lunchtime and after college sessions.

We offer a wide variety of sports, which include recreational sport, health and fitness and representing the College in a competitive team. Student opinions and feedback are encouraged widely in the College and Sports is no exception. Thanks to students’ requests, this year we have added American Football (NFL), Rugby and Volleyball to our sports provision.

We have fully qualified instructors and coaches for all of our sporting activities, including gym instructors.
