Staff and students from Sir George Monoux College have helped secure promises from all political party leaders at yesterday's Citizens UK General Election Assembly.
Sir George Monoux College has been a member of Citizens UK for over two years and has been actively involved in previous Citizens UK assemblies, actions and campaigns. The College has been engaged in discussions with the main political parties in the run up to the Citizens UK General Election Assembly; calling for recognition and long term relationship between the next government and the civil society. The College has also backed the call for living wage and the other issues such putting a cap on interest rates.

Government and politics, Law and Business students attending yesterday's Citizens UK General Election Assembly were inspired by the incredible atmosphere and the new style of politics being introduced by Citizens UK. The students were delighted to hear David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Gordon Brown positively respond to the Citizens Manifesto.
