Staff and students at Sir George Monoux College celebrate Saint George's Day
Staff and students marked Saint George's Day on 23rd April by distributing hundreds of red roses, signifying the national flower.
In the spirit of celebrating diversity and culture, displays highlighted myths and facts about Saint George. Students learnt that Saint George is not only the patron saint of England but also of Georgia, Lithuania, Palestine, Portugal, Germany and Greece.
